Fashionable and Fabulous

What an amazing experience I had on October 6th! I got the chance to work with a fabulous and fashionable bride for her Naperville wedding. I also got to apply makeup for all 8 of her bridesmaids as well as her mother, mother of the groom and aunt.

It was a long day! We started off early in the morning with a fun teal smokey eye for a lively bridesmaid! Through out the day I had a chance to do anything from a pretty neutral eye to a daring purple smoke! What a great group of ladies!

The bride and I worked out a fantastic gold eye with a winged liner and big false lashes! A peach cheek and pink lip finished up the glamourous look.  This look is great for any formal occasion!

This fall weekend wedding was really glam and fantastic!

Pretty in Pink and White and Lace!

Weddings always bring so joy and excitement. I was pleased when I was booked to do the makeup for a friends wedding.

It was such a beautiful day in the NW Chicago suburbs! The bride and groom really lucked out!
I actually set up outside for makeup alfresco! Natural lighting and a nice breeze made it not a bad spot at all for makeup application!

I had the chance to work on four lovely bridesmaids, mother of the bride and most important the bride herself! Many of the girls let me guide the way in the makeup selection. I love bridal makeup. Such  beautiful color combinations. I used a variety of neutral shimmers and mattes to create flattering and photogenic looks.

The bride enjoyed her session in the outdoor chair! Relaxing and chatting with friends is the best way to keep nerves at bay before your big day!

And she turned out stunning! Shimmering lids with matte taupe contours are a perfect pair with black liner and individual lashes! We accented the lips with a peachy gold shimmer to add that perfect bride kiss!

I am so thrilled with the look we put together today for Lindsay! She will be the most stylish guest at the wedding! 

Lindsay came to me wanting a stylish but relaxed updo that was on the side. So I created a curly messy side bun for her to beat the heat and still look good! For makeup Lindsay wanted a simple glamourous neutral look that would make her best feature standout. I gave her a shimmering neutral eye with a chiseled cheek and a berry lip. Stunning!
